JobRunner Terms and Conditions


By registering with our site or receiving CVs or any other services from JobRunner by e-mail or in any other way, you hereby agree to abide by the following terms and conditions of the site:

Our site is for the professional and business use of retained and contingency search firms, employment agencies, staffing firms and in house corporate recruiting departments.
As such, you hereby warrant that your company falls directly into one of the aforementioned categories and that you will not contact any candidate referred by JobRunner for any other reason than what is normal and customary in the employment business. You or representatives of your company or firm will not forward, distribute, send via fax or email, or transfer by any other means the information or data provided by candidates without their prior express consent to such transmission.
No proprietary right accrues to the Recruiter in any software, information, material or methods supplied by JobRunner.
You or representatives of your company or firm will not forward, distribute, send via fax or email, or transfer by any other means the information or data provided by JobRunner to any other party but direct employers.
JobRunner does not ever publish, share, sell, and/or otherwise exchange your information with customers or other third parties. It is strictly in the judgement and the sole responsibility of recruiters to pursue or other wise contact candidates that they may receive through our services. JobRunner takes no part or responsibility in the placement process with any recruiting firm or company regarding the hiring process.
JobRunner does not permit the harvesting of candidates' information for the purpose of unsolicited commercial email. We maintain the sole and exclusive rights to terminate your account for any reason whatsoever and without any notice. We maintain the right to modify these terms and conditions without notice and we maintain the sole discretion to activate or discontinue your account.
You and all representatives of your firm or company agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
The forum for all litigation as a result of misuse of the JobRunner service shall be governed by the law of England and the parties irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Disclaimer

Except as provided by statute, JobRunner disclaims and excludes all warranties in relation to the JobRunner System, the software and the data including all warranties implied by law or statute in relation to merchantable quality and fitness for purpose. JobRunner will have no liability in any circumstances for loss, expense or damage, consequential or otherwise sustained by the recruiter. JobRunner will not be held liable for any damages or loss of income or profits resulting from any cause including: The use of its service by the recruiter or any third party;
Service interruptions caused by its own negligence, or the recruiters negligence, or any other errors or omissions; Any loss of data/files, caused by delays, non-deliveries or wrong deliveries. JobRunner takes no responsibility for the accuracy or otherwise of the Data supplied;

JobRunner takes no responsibility for any viruses received by the recruiters under any circumstances.
It is the recruiter's responsibility to protect its servers and computers against incoming e-mail and computer viruses.
It is highly recommended to delete any file which is suspected to be a virus.
In no event shall JobRunner be liable for any direct or consequential loss of profit, or any damages caused by viruses.

JobRunner provides the services "as is" without warranty of any kind.
In the event that JobRunner provides you with products in conjunction with other services, JobRunner also provides those products "as is" without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied. JobRunner disclaims all implied warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall JobRunner be liable for any direct or consequential loss of profit, special, exemplary or punitive damages, even if jobrunner has been advised of the possibility of such damages that you may incur from the usage of information obtained over the internet.
If any part of this Agreement is held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality or enforceability of the remainder of the Agreement will not be affected or impaired in any way.
